Are you sure that RAM can be added to this model? If so, what type?

I just went through the Product Support Guide and found no mention of it.

I try to change memory and i still have a problem.
Standard memory on this model is 256mb.
        Do you have another idea?
        Thanks.

Could it be something to do with the original type setting, i.e. photo / line art etc? Look in "Original Type Setting" under scanner features. It could also be 600dpi is available from TWAIN only.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.
