    MPC 3000 White copy

    Hi,
    I have problem with MPC 3000 only when I print or copy B/W,when I print colour or copy colour copy is 100% OK.
    I change Developer, Opc and clean laser unit.
    The problem still remain.
    Any have idea?

      Try updating the firmware. There's been an issue with the laser shutter not opening enough. If the firmware update fails, just take the laser shutter off altogether and try it again. If that works, it's new laser unit time. I've tried replacing two laser shutters and neither have worked.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

              Nothing that I know of. The one I took out was spotless, and the machine was in a dirty environment. Besides, the jumbo toothbrush inside the front door cleans the laser slit glasses if they do get something on them.

              (Besides the firmware, there is an sp mode where you can adjust how far the shutter opens too, but it didn't help me.)
              Don't take that toner with me!

                  Im with TonerMunkeh - think I've taken off 3 or 4 lasr shutters for light copies on one side of the page - fixed my problems and I havnt seen any problems since.

                      Find solutions for white copy. Problem is SHUTER GLASS on Laser Unit. I clean with ALCOHOL and receive good COPY.
