    2022/2027 B089/B093 SBCU Dip Switches SC995

I have a 2022 carcass I'd like to bring back to life. The SBCU I pulled of my shelf (Parts Manual calls out B0935050 but mine says B0935120 and I know it came out of one of these machines) has two sets of dip switches, a 2 switch bank (both down / OFF) and a 4 switch bank (1,2,3 up / OFF and 4 down / ON). Both 2022 and 2027 machines apparently use the same board.

I'm getting an SC995 SBCU dip switch error. Service Manual says to replace SBCU or change switches to match old SBCU. I don't have another machine to compare. Apparently this is the speed setting for the board. If it's similar to other Ricoh's it's the 4 bank set that I have to change and I've tried various combination's.

I've been through the manual and it does not describe the switch settings.

Does anyone out there have a 2022 that they can look at the SBCU dip switch positions?

My first post. Hope it doesn't hit the "Worst Posts Ever" list.

For the US the 4 bank dip switches are 1 is on and 2,3,4 are off. I'm sorry but i don't know about the one with the 2 dip switch but if i had to guess I would say they were off.

I borrowed a board from a tech at another company and the 2 bank set had one on and one off. The 4 switch set were as you described. Thanks "blee" for your reply.

Yea, sorry people. The board worked with the change, one up and one down, to the 2-bank dip switch set. Sorry but the machine is not here anymore or I would note the switch positions. There are only 2 possibilities, try 'em both.

Thanks for the replies to my question. I hope this may help someone else. Good day.

SC995 will occur if the J-C1y/z engine firmware is installed in the J-C1k BCU. If this happens, install the J-C1k engine firmware. Tried that?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

              Hit it.

unfortunately, since I have only one kind of engine firmware (i assume it is J-C1y/z firmware) then I only have J-C1y/z firmware. I don't have J-C1k engine firmware. The sd card given to me contains all the necessary firmware apparently (or so I am told). Is it possible for anyone to pass the firmware (J-C1K engine firmware) to me?

EDIT: I also forgot to mention, I THINK I have one kind of engine firmware since the copier only show one engine firmware (that can be updated to)...

Also, may I know the code for J-C1y/z and J-C1K? I'll cross check with the firmware in the SD card. I don't have any form of documentation since I'm only given SD card only.
