    Lanier 6720

Do any of you old Lanier techs remember what a U4 error code is on one of these? Had one come in, don't have the error codes anymore.

I'm pretty sure it's waste toner full. If you don't have a replacement and just empty it, you will probably need to wash it out to clean the part that sits in the photo interrupter. The bottle is translucent and toner will stick to the walls causing it to continue reading "U4". "U" codes are related to "user" issues and I believe this is a Panasonic box.

That sounds more like it, I was a little fuzzy on which was what. How is it you can still service it? Are parts still available?

No parts are available that I know of. It's a chargeable call, so I was going to tell them they need to find a used toner bottle somewhere or how to fix it. I'm sure they don't want to pay to have me come out and tell them I can't fix it.

Looks like Precision Roller has some parts available. You can direct them there.
