    Should Scanrouter Lite find client?

Can someone please give a definitive answer to whether SR Lite can send to folders other than on the pc on which it is installed?

The documentation implies that this is possible, and some here seem to have achieved this, but all I can see are local drives.

SR works fine to the local pc. I have followed all the advice I could find on this excellent site, opening ports, disabling firewalls, editing dcom permissions, static and dynamic ip, but ng. Is it relevant that only the server has a password, to allow SR to be installed? (This is a home office system). I tried using the same password on a client but ng. Does DeskTopBinder or Scanrouter Link have to be installed on client and/or server? XP Pro SP2 is on all pcs.

I believe Desktop Binder does have to be installed on Server and Destination PC's. I never got Desktopbinder free to be able to See Scan mailboxes on Scanrouter Lite. I ended up just mapping the shared scan destination to each pc on the network.
