Lanier LD255, doc feed pulls multiple pages.

I am not that familiar with this box, but I rebuilt the feed assembly replacing the feed rubber, the frame that was broke, and the reversing roller. It still pulls as many as 6 to 8 pages at a time. I must be missing something. Any ideas?

Did you change the torque limiter at the same time as the sep roller? Could be the cause. A294 6700.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

this is a mechanical problem, I would remove the df feed assembly out and check that everything is turning and that the belt is turning in the same direction as the feed roller and there is no gap between the feed roller and feed belt, make sure the cover closes smoothly.
        good luck.

It was doing this before I worked on it, and the bracket was broke, so I changed it. Works fine sometimes and then it will start feeding several. I just found that they have 2 of this same machine, by getting a work order on the other on Friday. When I ask they described the same problem, so I assumed that it was maybe a flaw in the design.
