conecting more than a photocopier to each other

    Hi
What are the models in ٌRicoh that can be connected to some use as a photocopier large?
Do you have an idea of the method used and the steps ?

I think that connecting two copiers together has been available since about 1999 and started with the 550/650 range.

and anything that replaced that range & above (ie 2060, 2090, 5500, 8000, 1356 etc, etc) is capable of the same by installing a relevant Copy Connect Kit.

It's an optional purchase. How about using printer pooling? It wont give you the speed advantage, though it can increase productivity in terms of job wait times and circumventing down equipment. As long as you have 2 or more devices configured exactly alike (same model, options and accessories) you can set the driver to distribute the print job to the first available. First thing is to setup the driver for the devices (you only need one instance for all of them) and add all of the ip addresses for each of the separate devices to that driver under the ports tab. Then check "enable printer pooling" at the bottom of the ports tab window. Then check all of the ports you setup for each device. Now when you send a print job utilizing that driver, it will send it to the first available. If the first is printing a job, it will send it to the next one in the queue. And if one mfp is down the rest will carry the load. Here is a link to a screenshot of what to do... Printer Pooling
