How to recognize card printing model Ricoh 2045, Ricoh 2045e
Is it possible to use both of them on the same machine because it gives me erorr SC 990 ?
and what about fax cards ?

Both Print/Scan & Fax card are difference between 2045/35 & 2045e/2035e.

NOTORIOUS MODELS .Both 2045 & 2045e .
SC990 is its nightmare.1st ,4th and 11th copy but sometimes it could be after 100s of copies.
Aftermarket /lookalike or cpmpatible toners and other than TYPE 26 Developer ( or fake Devloper) are the major causes of SC 990.
Would you please give me SC 7409(If I 'm not forgotton however 7 and xxx)data to proceed.It will be 4 to 5 lines with error description including firmware page line and error description.

All i can tell you is that Sc990 is a SoftWare performance problem.

Yes. this problem is related on drum (most cases) but also could be developer or compatible toner. If your drum is old change it. The same story with developer. if your toner is compatible try to put in a genuine one but i'm afraid that yu'll have to change developer too. if your drum is new but is not genuine ricoh, the only solution is to teach your customer how to clean ID sensor from time to time.
