The document feeder on this copier was having problems so I swapped it out with another feeder. However the feeder I put on will work at times but more times than not when you copy from the feeder, the feeder just keeps running constantly until an SC955 error code comes up. I was wondering if the document feeder is the cause of this, and what is causing the problem in the feeder? Any help appreciated, thank you.

Sounds like an IPU or Hard Drive. Inspect the cables on the IPU first.sigpic

I made a mistake in my description of the problem the RADF that I tried does pull the original in and the copier pulls the paper from the cassette yet the copier not the feeder continues to run for a about a minute before the SC 955 error code comes on. I don't know if this changes your info solution or not.
