    MP2500 supplies

Can the PCU type 1027 be used in the MP2500? The supplies are the same but will the box fit?

I know but its the same Developer. So a few copies made would wash out what toner was in there. We are currently using the PCU 1027 in not only the AF1027 but also the 270, which uses a different toner and with only a slight mod to the 1027's case. And of course in the 3020 series too.
I just know that the 2500 case will have the same problems as the 1027 case. i.e. broken pcu gears, mixer gears, etc.

We tried this before and ran into problems, the type 1027 pcu (with green handle on top) has different dev than the mp2550, the pcu in the mp range has a black handle-yeah and you can order separate parts for it.
B039-9510 drum, AD04-1114 blade,AD02-7018 charge roller and type 28 dev.

I am talking about the MP2500 and you're mentioning the MP2550. They are different animals.
