Ricoh Aficio 400 SC323

A customers Ricoh 400 has an SC323, I was wondering if anyone knows what a common cause for this error code would be? I know what the book says the common causes are but I'm wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with this code and what they found to be the problem? Any help appreciated, thank you.

[SC323] - LD unit defective [SC323] - replace laser diode unit A1342085 [SC323] - temperature around LD unit to high charge inlet fan not working or filter clogged (behind front inner cover) replace charge inlet fan (cools laser unit)
