Found this in the knowledge base....


Copied images are faint (all colors). How can I fix this?

Is the Toner Saver Mode is set to ON? (Default: OFF)

Confirm the Toner Saver setting by printing the Configuration Page

Follow these steps:

1. Press any menu key.

1. Press the [][] keys to select [Reports Print], and then press the [OK] key.

1. Press the [][] keys to select [Configuration Page], and then press the [OK] key.

The problem is resolved by setting the Toner Saver to [Off] again.

Procedure: In Menu -> Machine settings -> Toner Saver Mode, change the setting from [On] to [Off].

1. Press the [][] keys to select [Machine Settings], and then press the [OK] key.

1. Press the [][] keys to select [Toner Saver Mode], and then press the [OK] key.

1. Set the [Toner Saver Mode] to [Off].
