    how to update firmware

    i've tried to set up scan to folder for Aficio 3245.
    The printing driver is installed and printing works fine.
    However, scan to folder is not working.
    Once, i put in IP address, on the display of the machine, it shows the network of each client.
    But after memorize the scan to folder address in the machine, it lost the network.
    Pls. let me know what kinds of solution therea are.
    And i want to know how to update the firmwere.
    Somebody says the scan to folder works aftere the firmawre is updated.

    An SD card and the latest firmware off Tessa. The service manual for the machine shows the correct update procedure.
    It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

        Like with the various forums mentioned recently it seems we can only access our areas Ricoh company's Websites it sounds like. So if your in the US you would access Ricoh US version and I know from trying we cant access the US version.

          David,
          If want setup Scan to folder you must have:
          1 - network path (shared);
          2 - user name and password with privileges (read and write)
          Easy way is create a new user with this parameters in the address book.
