MP 6000 SP Light Prints

I have a Savin 8060 (MP6000) that prints light. It's in a print shop mac environment. Copies are great. PM is up to date maybe 150k on drum and dev. They also have a Savin 6045 (B132) with fiery. If I take a copy printed on the 6045 and make 100 copies from that on the 8060 the last copy is as dark as the first. But a print job sent to the 8060 the blacks are pretty much grey. Printed from my laptop universal pcl driver nice and dark. Not being mac smart, does anyone have any tips or settings to check?

look at the driver setup and make sure it is not on "economy printing"
