Turn off windows Firewall and see if it works. I've never hard to "register" the server on the copier. Scanrouter updates the copier by itself. Also helps for pc to have static Ip address.

Anyway, what OS did you install Scan Router on? Is this Scan Router Lite or Scan Router Pro, EX???
