scanning software(Ricoh)

I am trying to conncect the computer to the ricoh multifunctional machine.
Printing is fine, but always scan to folder or scan to email is problem.
So, i am thinking of using other utility program by ricoh homepage.
I heard that Twain drive and desktop binder is for that purpose.
Can i get the infomation as to how to set up these software and use those.

The network twain driver is very simple to set up. Run the setup file on a computer you wish to scan to, once installed run the network tool and search for MFD on the same network

Twain scanning is pull only so scans have to be inserted into a program such as Microsoft Word

What kind of problems are you having with scanning? Sometimes scan to email is an issue with Ricoh devices if the SMTP server requires SSL authentication, but scan to folder should work on anything as long as the permission are set correctly.
