    Ricoh Aficio 1022

    Hi everybody,

I have a Ricoh Aficio 1022 (Lanier version Lanier 5622) with an Error code SC392. It has a brand new drum, and we have not being able to find out the problem The developer unit seems fine too.
Any ideas on how to reset this error? SP5-810 and SP mode 7-807 didin't work.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

The drum drive shaft has a little sprung gear on it, that might have siezed. Clean it off with IPA then put a touch of grease on it. If that fails it'll need a brand new PCU.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

Also make sure the drive coupling piece for the development section of the drum unit is not missing. I rebuilt one of these drums and forgot to put it back on the end of the drum unit afterward and it popped a code when it was installed.
Don't take that toner with me!
