MP6001 connectivity prob

Hi Guys

I have a MP6001 with Print/Scan option. I can print and ping the machine fine, but can not use Smartdevicemonitor or WIM. Smartdevice monitor picks up the machine but when i try to use the addres book management tool, it asks me for a password. No username just the password. In WIM i get a error 404 Page not found. Connected my notebook to the machine via a crossover cable to see ifit may be a AV app or proxy but still does the same. Next i check device setting SP 5-985-1 0=disable 1=enable. The machine was on 2. (no discription in the manual) I set the SP to 1 but still nothing. I then set it back to 2 and then it worked. WIM and Smartdevice. Swithed the machine off and on. Then it stop working again. Set to 1 and back to 2 and it was working, but a soon as i switch the machine off and on it stop again.

Remove and then reseat the controller board, then do 5985 again.

Have had 3 of them now doing same thing. Scan and print fine, no WIM. Set SP-5-985 to 1 rebooted power and they are working fine now. Good call, reseating main controller and try setting it to 1 again.
