Has anyone used this Java application in their copier(s)? Our lease is almost up on an Aficio 2060SP and we are looking for a new Ricoh that can limit the number of copies made by each account. Ricoh USA told me that Ricoh's 'User Accounts Limits Application' is the answer. For those that have it installed in their Ricohs, has it been worth it? Better or worse than a 3rd party keypad controller like a HECON? Thanx in advance...

Maybe they're talking about this app- Print and Copy Control. There is also Smart Accounting, which you can use for tracking and charge backs (not java based, uses user codes in driver pop ups).Comment

Re: 'User Account Limits Application' for Ricoh copiers...
I have it in use on a couple of machines at a high school. Newer machine that have the user limits option for the address book do not need it. As apump says , you canot print a list but you can login to the ap as admin and look at the list. Document number for information are:- Admin Guide rfg040593
- Install Guide rfg040594
- User Guide rfg040595
- FAQs Sheet rfg040602
Installation Guide has a Model Supported list and the JAVA version required for each.Comment
