aficio AF 220 printing problemo

I have a 220 in a customers office and got him a Startech print server to interface it to his network..one end into the par port and the other to the network cable....I downloaded the drv from the Ricoh site and set it up (winXP) his second tray is set for 11 by 17 ...so the problem is that when he prints 11by 17 the print out comes out... corrupted just letters , symbols etc. also it seems to forget the 2nd tray is holding 11by17 paper..so I go there reinstall the drv and it works for a week or so and then the problem starts all over again...any ideas?

use universal drivers

why do you say that and where are these universal drvs to be found?

i had the same prob. check nrgcss site and pick from any model which has unirvesal,e.g i took from dsc424,
