    [Error Code] Gestetner DSM645 Cover Open-SC835

    After Laser Unit error, we renewed the LD Unit and did the settings. The machine is getting ready for to seconds and then the display shows "Cover open", but does not show which cover. We changed the door switches but it is still the same. Starting in the Diagnose Mode ( switching the machine on while holding down the * and # botton) the display shows SC835 1120
    We can not find this error code anywhere, not even in Tessa.

      Error Sc 835 means :-- Self-Diagnostic Error: Parallel Interface
      Loopback test error.
      •
      Loopback connector not detected

      •
      IEEE1284 connector defective

      • Controller board defective,
      this is what mentioned so please check the connectors

          first at all, i would suggest you to investigate the psu if there are all voltages present. check especially fu1 and fu2
          If sometimes you feel a little useless, offended and depressed always remember that you were once the fastest and most victorious sperm of hundreds of millions!
