    RICOH Aficio 3025

    Hi folks,
This is my first post on this forum. I'm currently admin on an aficio 3025, i need to check and be able to download/reprint, via the web image monitor, every documents printed previously.
I don't really understand well the readme, so i have some questions :
first, why i dont see all printed documents in the "server's document" (dunno if it's its real name, im on a french version).
Second, in the "trav => imprimante => travaux d'impression" (i guess in english it means "work => printer => printing work"), the list is empty. Why ?
Third, in the "work => document's server", the list is empty aswell, even when i print something. Do note that the list in the history is working, but i cant download the files, i just see the titles of my already printed documents, which is not helping me.
    Thx for ur help !

If you are trying to print every copy and print job ever made on the machine, you cannot do this. The document server function allows you to store documents for print on demand, and the travaux d'impression (print jobs) listing only shows you the last twenty jobs listed. There is no way to recover or retain all standard jobs that were not explicitly stored. This would take a huge amount of memory to store all documents, not to mention the privacy and security issues it would cause at some accounts!

      Okay, thx for ur answer.
The print jobs listing may fit though, but the list is always empty (u said 20 documents, i see none, even when i start printing something). Any idea how to solve it?
Basically, all i need is to check the printed documents do fit our rules (no personnal documents, we just had some problem last week with someone printing very "special" documents...)

I'm still confused why the print jobs listing is always empty. Has anyone here already experienced this ?

Probably because no-one sends them as locked or held print jobs, they just come straight off the machine. That's the only reason they'd stay in the print jobs list. They would also disappear when printed.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.

The print job list as TonerMunkeh states is for held or stored jobs. Try using the Job History tab of the machine's web interface to get a listing of the last twenty jobs printed. Also, if you are in a Windows environment, setting the print drivers to LPR will also give you the user name of the person who sent each job. Usually that or user codes are a good way of monitoring who is printing what as with a User Code you get not so much file names, but the total number of pages that each person has printed. Often, it's usually one or two people printing a lot of extra stuff that can make a whole group look bad.
