    Ricoh Aficio 350

Customer doesn't like that they can't come up and make a copy after the copier goes down into sleep mode after two hours of non-use. I can up the time to 240 minutes before it goes into sleep mode but was wondering if there is a way to turn off the sleep mode timer and if so will it effect the copier in any way with it staying on all the time? Any help appreiated, thank you.

I have looked before, but I don't believe it's possible to disable it on an Energy Star machine.

Ditto. you can set it to the max of 240, but cannot disable.

Try setting to ZERO, on some Ricoh machines this will turn the sleep mode off, can't remember if this is one of them.

I'm pretty sure you can disable it this way...
user tools, system settings, key op tools, AOF to off

You're probably correct, I can't remember the last time I saw one of these particular models.

SP 5-305, Change from "0" To "1" This will let you set the timers in user tools to "0" which turns them off.

To answer your second question, you will have to replaced fuser rollers more often because they are sitting there cooking all day.

He is correct. Just tell the customer they are helping the environment and if they aren't using it once every 4 hours then well geeze lol. Saves you Fuser issues.

Tell them to upgrade the thing then it won't take 5 minutes to warm up
