    Lanier 7313 service wrench

How do I clear the "service wrench" icon on our Lanier 7313 copier? Up until now it worked fine and made great copies. Now, nothing. I'm the pastor of a very rural Methodist church, and I'd hate to lug this thing into the nearest town or have to beg a tech to come all the way out here if it is really something fairly simple. Thanks (I hope)!

The Lanier 7313 is a pre-Ricoh analogue copier. More than likely at this point if parts are needed there will be no way of getting them. Some smaller dealers may still have parts available. Former corporate Lanier, now Ricoh, offices no longer support most of the old Toshiba made Lanier equipment.

This is an old Toshiba (If I remember right) Hold down 8 and Clear at the same time and the error code will show in copy count display. It will likely be C7 for a fuser problem...

hold 0 & 8 while powering on machine. press 8,9, start. Change value to 0 to reset C7 error.
