    SP5100N - firmware update

I am having difficulty upgrading the firmware on a Ricoh SP5100N printer. I have downloaded the file and am trying to upgrade via the IP address. The instructions advise that you must download the correct file but there is only one file type to download. Has anyone come across this? I know the printer is a rebadged Samsung, I have upgraded firmware on many Samsungs with no problems.
Also I am unable to get into the service mode - I am using the keys as per the service manual - Menu, stop, left, back & OK.
I am wondering if both the above are a printer issue or am i doing it wrong?

Have since found an easier way to upgrade firmware. As the printer is actually a Samsung you can unzip the file and drag the .hd file into the usbprns file and it will automatically download.
