installed all the removed boards into my parts machine and It powered up no SC820, Some other component must be the cause of this error. I have searched the manual to no avail. Starting to unplug other components......

        Have you tried the FCU/MBU?

        From the Global Knowledge Base
        SC820 with Fax Option Installed
        1. The connection between the fax MBU board and the fax FCU board may be loose.
        2. The MBU board was installed without the battery being turned ON. The SC 820 will then appear the 1st time the machine is turned off and back on.
        [Action]
        1. Reseat the MBU board onto the FCU and check that the battery jumper has been moved to the ON position set of jumpers.

        2. If the SC 820 still appears try removing the FCU board, if the problem goes away replace the FCU.

Thanks for the tip, This does not appear to be a BO22 maybe an 1018 type machine, However I have swapped the entire fax board, removed and replaced MBU, Switched battery on and off same problem. I have now changed the operation panel still have SC820 wont do anything else. Thanks

I'm thinking mabe wiring harness damage. I don't see anything in the manual for input and output voltages, Customer also had some computer network cards blown out. So it looks like the machine took a hit. Summer in Florida! Still looking......
