On an MPC 2050.
I save a file on the document server, how can I do to recover this file on my computer via the network? To send it by mail, or to edit, for example.

Is what I can use the hard drive of MPC2050, as a network hard drive?

It can't be done unless you install the File Format Converter option. And no, you cannot use the device HDD as a network drive.

The only thing you can do with files in the Document Server is print 'em.

You can SCAN to your PC!

Try to download it 1st to ur computer with web image monitor, open browser application on ur computer e.g mozilla firefox or internet explorer, enter ur ip address machine on the adress bar and then login as admin and you can download file what u save on document server to ur computer.

Once again, you cannot download it to your PC without the file format converter option installed. You can view a thumbnail and print it using the WIM, but the image is in a proprietary format, hence the need for the converter.
