    MP 6000 SC819 Error Code

Apparently it is either corrupted firmware or a bad controller.

    Any advice?

Controller would be most likely, especially as the SC won't clear. Have you disconnected the HDD's?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

X2. try disconnecting the HDD and then power the machine back up and see if it comes to ready as a basic copier. power off, replug in and power back on.

Had the same trouble with a MP7500 today, ended up with an SC834 0F41 after disconnecting and reconnecting HDD and DIMMs.Not sure where to go next. Interested in what fixed it.
