[Misc] Ricoh Aficio cl4000dn - Everytime I replace a part, I need to replace another.

First, I replaced the waste toner unit. Then it told me it needed a new black photo conductor unit. I replaced that, then it told me it needed a new transfer belt. I just replaced that. It now says that it needs a new maintenance kit and it also sounds like the belt is not in correctly, although I've reset it a couple of times.

    Any suggestions?

Odd. Is it the right transfer belt? The Gaia has a few revisions, possibe you might have the wrong one. They're a bit of a bugger for asking for everything at the same time too.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

It's normal as far as the timing of the replacement indications. All of these parts are set to be replaced at certain intervals and the planets all aligned for you this time. The PCU's and Waste bottle are replaced every 50K and the Maintenance kit and Transfer belt every 100k. So you can see that all 4 items will pop up every 100k. The maintenance kit is the fuser and may or may not need to be replaced (as well as most of the pm parts). You can disable or reset the pm indication through service modes if you desire without replacing parts (at your own risk). As far as the noise, are the images looking normal or is there banding/jitter marks?

          Just my luck!
          The printing seems fine.
