[Error Code] SC991

I'm having trouble trying to clear or alter the address book on a Ricoh 2015 using the web monitor. It shows sc991 error, and won't allow any further changes. I have the latest firmware, and tried clearing through 5-846-50. cannot get away from sc991.
Copies, prints and faxes fine.

Since this is only Kir-c model B/W, try to do engine clear or memory clear but first print the smc and put it back the data after you done.

Does the machine let you alter the address book from the ops panel?

Unable to change or delete from ops panel. Tried to add from panel, and everything goes fine till after exiting, and then selecting 001 again I've found that the original programmed name is still there, when searching for positions. However when selecting ' 001 ' for the quick dial, it tells me there is no destination programmed.
Have tried memory clear. Without taking the cover off, I don't think this model has a hard drive, as there is no reference to a reformat in the service list. I know this is an old machine, but it is the one I use at home, and now it has become a challenge to fix it.

Ummm, Diagnostic report (5990-5) "Hdd Existance"?

This model don't have HDD option, I already encounter that problem but i can't remember how can i solved that issue because it was year 2k7. I try to remember that and i'll update you soon.

I should have printed that before I removed the back cover and the controller box............all those screws ....No Hdd existance
