Savin C2525 jams at reg roller

I have a C2525 that jams right at the registration roller. Evidently it's not getting the signal to start the registration. The reg. sensor appears to be working, since it shows a jam there when the machine stops. I'm trying to find info in the service manual, but since I don't usually work on these it's taking me awhile. I think it's possible the machine just forgot what it's supposed to do. Is there a general reset simulation like Kyocera has? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

Is the paper buckled or it just stops. Look at the Jam code under Plotter jam history 7507, compare that number to the jam positions at 7504. This will tell you if the paper is getting to or not leaving the reg roller. You can also do an input check in 5803 #59. Just look for a change of state.
Now, go fix that machine. If it were easy, anybody could do it.

Thanks for the input, Jomama. As it turned out none of that helped, but at least I learned something about the testing sims. The problem was a wad of paper between the copier and the sorter and two paper clips. I don't know why it was stopping at the reg roller. Just more weird copier stuff. Thanks again

By the way, sometimes they do forget what they are supposed to do. Seen it alot in 15 years.

The Minolta DI470 forgets it has a clutch it's supposed to turn on sometimes. Fix is turn off and on and it remembers it again... I get what he means.
