    ricoh mpc4000 vertical lines.

Hi y'all.I have a m/c giving vertical lines(magenta and yellow) intermittently. This problem occurred a few days after the ITB was replaced as it was torn. The distance between the lines seems to coincide with distance between the pcu's.Any ideas would be welcome.

What's the cleaning unit like? When you say vertical do you mean in relation to A4 landscape or portrait?

What's the unit done according to the PM counter? They need replacing every 160k.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            Hit it.

I'm sorry about not getting back to you sooner about this.I got some info about this fault albeit on a different model. The fix apparently is to check the grounding plate on the itb and replace same if that doesn't work.I removed the transfer belt and made sure any ground was making a secure connection.Because it is intermittent I don't know if that is the solution just yet.I will keep you posted on this 'cos it may be one to look out for. Thanks again for responding.

I took the belt off the itb and made sure all grounding contacts were made.I haven't had a call back so far.
