How to troubleshoot scan to email for all machine?

HI

can someone told me how to troubleshoot scan to email? Did this have driver or module to detect error. I have a client that has a ricoh mp2550 all the setting are correct on both server & photocopy. On photocopy test connection are good & server setting are ok. when sending scan to email error occurs on display its shown check status setting.
Did this have a driver?

If you have your own mail server and If you are sending outside of the local network, you need to enable relay on the SMTP server.
If you are using an ISPs server you must beg them for the address of a relay server.
