We have a used Ricoh 350 that occassionally give a functional problem symbol with SC405-00 code. After turning off and on it goes away but now the display board does not come on for a couple days at a time. Any suggestions??

It's a home position error for the transfer belt.
Just check that transfer belt pushes inwards and springs back out freely.
But failing that it's likely to be caused by the clutch or HP sensor on the half turn cam.- Knowledge not shared, is eventually knowledge that becomes lost... like tears in the rain.

I have seen the clutch go out on these before. Not very hard to swap out. As far as the display goes, intermittedly going in and out like that, check the solder connections on the pb, customer abuse on these machines leads to alot of broke solder joints on the panel. Good luck.Comment
