    [Error Code] Sc570_error_lanier_ld024c

Hello again chaps, were having a bit of trouble again with another works photocopier, this time it's a Lanier LD024C with the SC570 Error code, we've fitted a new fusing unit and the oil is full, however the unit still gives this error code, been looking about it seem it needs to reset in sp mode, would anyone care to tell me the procedure to reset/rectify the error please, thanks in advance for the replys chaps.

we've replaced the oil from what i can gather from my manager, i thought you had to also reset the code and tell it there a full bottle of oil via sp mode?

you have to enter in sp mode and go to 5-810 and reset the fusing service code, after you fill the bottle in the back of the machine with silicone oil. After this procedure, and you still get this service code, your fusing unit is damaged. The thermistors in the fusing unit needs to be change.

you have a option in sp mode (1-930) to force the machine to add oill from the oil tank to the oil supply unit.

SC570 has nothing to do with the thermistors. Try running the oil pump add 1 time only and check (do a visual check of the pump as it runs). You don't want to overfill the reservoir and have a mess.

            570 (A) Fusing oil end

            since oil end was detected.
            • Insufficient oil (the oil tank in the rear of
            the machine)
            • Defective oil pipe

So the moral of the story is - when the machine asks for oil, add it!

It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                Hit it.
