    MP5500 Key Counter Option Pinout...

    Hey everyone!
    More questions. I want to install my own specialty key counter on an MP5500. I have found the 12 pin molex socket and the modes that need to be activated. What I need is the pinout of the 12 pin connector to find the activation interlock and the counter pulse. Does anyone have this info?

    You don't need the IDC plug on this machine.

    Look at the upper right side cover, towards the rear at the top you will see a small 1" x 2" removable plate with a 4 pin connector inside. Check voltage from one pin at the end of the plug until you find 24v to chassis. This and the pin next to it are for the counter and the other pair are for the 5v "Switch" interlock. Be careful not to short the 24v pins.

    There MAY be a jumper plug in there and if there is this should have the 5v pins shorted.

    Activate the interface via user tools.
