The touchscreen will need to be replaced. I am attaching a technical bulletin that addresses this issue. Depending on your relationship to Ricoh, it would normally be replaced under warranty with an updated type.

Hi teebee, Thanks for your information. we have tried to replace the control panel, it is also the same no function. I think it is not related to the control panel, is it on the machine itself, but I am not sure that it is related to ram. As i can not find out where it is. the ram beside the hardisk is only for printer usage. Is there any ram placed on the machine.

It's very possible that the control panel you put on is defective also. This units have a high failure rate and all of the mfp's were mandated to have them replaced. Did you swap the control panel from an operational unit? Check the ribbon harness end of the touchscreen where it plugs into the board, if the tip is brown it is the old style and needs to be replaced. The new updated ones have a white tip. I don't see where ram would be giving you an issue, but it is located on the controller board. Maybe the BICU but I've never had this problem be anything other then the touchscreen. I'm sure others will post further suggestions shortly.

Hi, did you mean you replaced the whole control panel ass'y? If so, Is this control panel came from working machine and did you calibrate again the touch screen adjustment? teebee was right this adonis models have a high failure rate w/ regards to touch panel.
Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.....A.E.

Hi. we replaced the whole control panel ass'y from working machine and withour making calibrate again the touch screen adjustment. It's because we prevent to damage the workable panel.
We tried to install the malfunctiion control panel ass'y on other same model machine,we found that it's no problem. so that we consider the problem is on the machine not the control panel. do you have the same issuse

I guess the next step would be to consider either the harness, Scanner Interface Board or bicu board. I would probably lean towards the SIB as the op panel plugs into the SIB which itself connects to the BICU. Try swapping the Scanner Interface Board out first before the BICU. I am attaching the point to point as I am not sure that you have it readily available.

remove the ROM chip from the Controller Board. Fix it back to the machine & power on. Power off, fix back the ROM chip n Power on.
it just work. Thats what i did with my machine.

Calibration value store inside NVRAM corrupted due to faulty panel. Try shifting other NVRAM to that machine and try. Reset the NVRAM and replace the panel.
