Ricoh 350e Fax Option Question

I have a Ricoh 350e that I bought used. It has the printer option installed on it. I would like to put the Fax option on it or turn it on. Heres what i mean by turn it on..There is also a place on the back of the machine that has phone connections. It is in the middle of the back of the machine and has an FCC sticker indicating that it is a ?Fax?.

There is also a place on the back of the ADF that has the tel and Line and this is empty.

Can I make the fax work?

On another note is there a place where i can get the service manual. Keep in mind that Im a student that paid 150 for the whole thing.. not much $$$.

Hi, from what you described, the fax option was removed. The fax connectors should be above the sticker that reads "line/ Tel.". If you still need to add a fax, let me know. I'll check to see if I could help.

I was hoping to make it work, but the fax is not important to me.

what I would like to do is to set up the Scan functions. I actually bout the machine to do the scanning and printing but it didnt have the scan card. If you have one or could point me in the right direction please let me know.

The scan option for this copier was rare, so you might have a tough time finding one. You will probably need to upgrade to a Ricoh 1035 at least. I hope you are lucky enough to find what you need.
