    shipping ricoh 2027 over seas

    i have a friend in africa thats wants a ricoh 2027. no problem but what has to be done to the machine for the difference of power? have talked to a lot of wholesalers but they did not know. we have 110v 60c here but in africa it's 220v 50c any ideals. maybe just change the power supply out??? thanks for your help howard

    The power supply is a switch type so its not the problem. Just get a step-down transformer to account for the voltage difference. The cycle difference will make it a second or more to warm up but the stepping motors wont be a problem. Be sure and get a transformer big enough to handle the 12Amps it will draw.

      yes, here we use 220v. he can buy here a 110v-220v converter. and i belive this will fix the problem!

        Be sure it has the wattage to handle it. Volts x amps = watts
