    Ricoh af3025 fixing problems

the print gets duplicated by the heat roller each 20 or 50 prints: i changed the heatroller (only original parts!), then the whole fusing/fixingstation -the same as before. i put fusing idle on "1", got up with the temp. on 190 degres in middle and roller ends, even in energy saver mode -the same as before. i also have the same problem with a ricoh af1022 -i cant fix it!!!!

Could it be that the ghosting is caused by the PCU-Unit. Are you using the original toner?

hai eric: in the af3025 i use original nashuatec toner (for 2205,2705,3205 and dsm622/627/632) and original ricoh pcu (ca.40000 prints). in the af2022 i use katun/parts depot toner and also original ricoh pcu (new!)??? maybe i should look at the pcu's the next days

Sounds like a PCU to me. They are good for 60k or less. But non-OEM toner is always suspect. The only sure way is to replace them both a the same time.

We have found on the 2022 series it helps to lower the fuser temp to 158.
We only use oem toner in these and toner was still collecting on the heat roller at the higher default temp.
I imagine it would be the same for the 3025 series.

            Hi,
We have had similar problems on Russians. We have found changing the following settings seems to cure the problem
            1103-01 Fusing Idling turn on
1105-01,02,06,07 Fusing temps all down to 177
1105-08 After warming up change to 10
            2201 Dev bias -600

Hope this is of some help
