Ricoh Aficio Cl7100 colours wont align

    Hello.
I have recently purchased a second hand ricoh aficio cl7100 and when i print, the colours do not align. I try to run a 'colour regist' in the maintenance menu but it always fails. If anyone could help i would really appreciate it.

Also does anyone know why some of the toner does not always fuse properly to the page and rubs off?

    Thanks
    Elliott

If the "user" registration doesnt work then you will need an EXPERIENCED" tech to diagnose and fix it.
As far as the fusing, Make sure you have OEM toner and fresh paper.

you might also need a new fusing unit for the toner rubbing off, that is easy to change out.

for the registration issue, definatly agree with call an experienced tech.

clean the machine. Drums, belt, cleanng unit, id sensors. after this, run a colour registration. you also can run a forced line position adjustment in sp mode.
