Machine scans A4 or A3 documents from ADF or platen but never rescans. It pops out an SC-123 code and carriage stops at the end of scan. I swapped home oosition sensor,no success! Switching on off, the problem never appears. Any experience please??

I've not had this problem but if the scanner motor is not reversing back to home position, and you have replaced the HP sensor, it is most likely to be the scan motor or the IOB PCB.
