3245C Keeps asking for black toner

This machine keeps asking for black toner . I vacuumed out the toner tube and still displays
message to replace the toner . Any ideas any one ?

I agree, and if you're in there, you might as well replace all the colours as well. Take the pain at once.

Had this problem twice before. Found it to be the dv clutch not engaging to turn the dv unit. Easy to change your second time. Can you get it to tone-up at all? I know there is a bulliten about faded areas for a slipping clutch.

I replaced the dev unit and I vacuumed out the toner tube again and now it seems to be working fine . Thanks for you info .

try the black valve it feeds into, then progress to pump.
