[Misc] Installing the rear full speed scanner/ cable clip on a ricoh 2022 copier

Man oh man I tried for well over an hour to get this cable clip in with no luck. This baby wooped my butt. There has to be a way to get this in. I need an expert on this. thanks in advance. Eric Woolf in Indy.

Not sure if you have the manual so I'm attaching the pertinent pages. The clip (facing vertical above the scanner) has to go down in the hole and catch the cable from underneath and then you bend it over to the right like setting a mousetrap. The pics here should help.
