MP 171 Scan Feature

We have recently installed an MP171 in one of our branches. I am trying to determine if I am able to changed the name of the file that is being scanned. As it stands now, all that we can scan is a date/time stamp file name.

Although not a tech myself, I am hoping that someone can assit me with this

I don't believe it is possible (will double check and let you know). I think it will be easier doing it at your PC, entering a file name at the device (using its mobile phone style keypad) would drive me up the wall

You can change de name file in Scan-to-email. In scan-to folder you can not change in this model.
