As far as the installation, check your SM under installation. It should list the procedure for installing the key counter and where you plug it into. As far as the counter itself, you may need to contact the manufacturer and purchase a Ricoh compatible harness. I had to do this for a Hecon a while back. Fortuantely with it I just plugged it in and enabled key counter in SP modes. Easy install.

Probably a type C counter interface fit, As mikladonovan said, it's in the installation SM for the main machine.

It is very likely that the MP3350 has the same connector on it's bicu as the Dsm635. I'd recommend to study the peer-to-peer/wiring diagrams of both machines just to be shure that the pin assignment is identical as well. I'm pretty shure you can re-use the stuff from the Gestetner so you don't have to order anything. All software-related settings should be documentated in the service and user manuals.

I'd recommend to ask the customer if it's OK to uninstall the key counter one or two weeks before they get the new machine. In this case you can prepare the new machine in your shop with some time in case something doesn't fit or you have to improvise/order something.
