There is no 5810 listed in the service mode. Faxes are locked in and will not print no matter if I set the fax tray priority to tray two. I power down in the service mode but I cannot get a clean power down with the power light to stop flashing. Any help greatly appreciated.

SC501 indicates a functional problem with paper tray 1. You just need to power off and back on the main power (red rocker switch on left side), it's not a type 'A' sc code. Check the tray and lift mechanics, probable cause would be the lift motor. The faxes in memory may already be locked in to print from tray 1, you may just want to switch over parts from tray 2 to tray 1 to get it working until you get them in stock.
