MP 6000 Funtional Restart SC 990

I have a Savin 8060 that goes into restart error. This only occurs while using the interposer. A SC 990 is also logged. The Firmware is latest versions. The interposer main board and ROM were replaced. The IOB and HDD have been replaced. The machine will run a couple dozen sets, usually about 40, before the error occurs. Any ideas?

990 on other machines sometimes means the drum has had it. Long shot, but worth a go. With regard to the firmware, did you update ALL firmware or just engine and system / copy?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Drum and related parts have recently been done, less than 200K ago. All firmware has been updated and reinstalled today.

Had similar on an MP8000 2 weeks ago. I found this..........

        MP8000 SC990
        [Symptom]
        SC990 occurs.
The following are logged in details.
        File ENG: printsub.c
        Occurs in Line 3676
        Value 8
        File ENG: printsub.c
        Occurs in Line 3676
        Value
        [Cause]
Variations in the mounting of the registration sensor and the relay sensor cause a software error.
        [Resolution]
Set the following SP settings (current value) – 2 mm.
SP1003-01 (registration deflection amount adjustment: main feed LCT)
SP1003-02 (registration deflection amount adjustment: duplex)
SP1003-03 (registration deflection amount adjustment: manual)
You can further increase the possible adjustment range by setting SP1001-01 (sub scan registration adjustment) in the minus direction.
Change the three settings mentioned above to be the same as amount of change for SP1001-01 (sub scan registration

        Mmmmmm... I Thought.........
CLEANED THE REG SENSOR!!!! NO MORE PROBLEM! The machine is overdue for it's first service, but it's fine since the sensor was cleaned. I would also clean the relay sensor.
