[Misc] ricoh 1055 set paper drawer

i have a ricoh 1055 and was wondering if anyone has come across aproblem with the first paper drawer .The message is saying to set drawer .
The first paper drawer which is a tandem drawer is recoginising paper on the left hand side but not on the right hand side.
Ihave changed the right hand side of the drawer to no avail and was wonder if anyone has any other suggestions.

You might check the connector on the machine side. All it takes is a tiny sliver of paper shoved in it to cause funny problems like this.

Check the middle rail for a missing/loose screw and the black spring which locks the left rail..

ditto. just remember to switch the machine off before trying to remove any paper from the connector.
