    Ricoh Aficio 2075/ " Wait"

After the first copy or even after you finish any work shows "Wait" and is required every time turn the power off and start over every job.

Looks like a bad HDD, or maybe a firmware issue.

Found some more info on the Ricoh Database :

        [Symptom]
After copy output the "Please Wait" message stalls.
After 1 job completed and the copies were output, the machine did not shift from the "Please Wait" message to the copy message. Also, the original could not be scanned. The scanner initialized after the machine was turned on. After the machine was cycled off/on, 1 more job could be executed.
        [Cause]
The RAM was operating erratically (cause unknown). Answer The problem recurred with the HDD and the options (ADF, finishers, etc.) disconnected. Clearing the RAM restored operation. Clearing RAM is only a temporary measure; please remember that the problem is likely to recur.

        Maybe order new RAM?

I already formatted the hard disk, replaced, upgraded the firmware, but nothing, sometimes it works for a few hours later the problem still occurs

            Hi,

Unplug the potential sensor and then back in again.
Sounds silly buy that'll sort it.

            G'man.

Try re-seating the DIMM's. I have found several machines with this issue and this fixed is. The DIMM could be defective also.

You said you formatted the HDD, but did you already replace it?

Indeed, a faulty HDD will still report as completed after a format, normally immediately. I'd replaced the HDD and see if that sorts it, you can pick them up for 3/5 of bugger all as long as you don't buy them from Ricoh.

as mentioned before, check the Drum potential sensor, clean or replace, the machine is not able to check the drum potential and stops after the first copy/print.

So did you check the Potential sensor Connector??
I've had this several times on Martini C-2 and it's always been the connector not fully plugged in.
